Your new role

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team (technicians and contractors), assigning priorities, coaching performance, and enforcing discipline.
• Diagnose recurring equipment failures using root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts, external services, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support new launches, process changes, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance KPIs and documentation (CMMS), reporting performance and driving improvements in MTBF/MTTR and reliability.

What you´ll need to be successful

• Engineering degree or similar technical background.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager in automotive manufacturing, at least 5 years as manager.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to set priorities and drive accountability.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capability, applying root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, and Engineering.
